Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager must possess overall ability and skills to build and service the business of Tronex and to develop long-term trusting relationships with clients or potential clients. This position will be engaged in corporate business development from Tronex’ Headquarters in Mt. Olive, NJ. Business Development professionals develop and grow business and cultivate new, long term partnerships nationally within the healthcare, hospitality, and/or food service industries.
Job Responsibilities:
The following reflects the essential functions for this position, but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned:
- Develop new opportunities and business within the healthcare, hospitality, and/or food service industry for the Tronex line of products on a national and regional level while promoting core service and value principles.
- Create and leverage all opportunities for business growth while networking and developing strong long-term relationships with key customers at all levels within healthcare, hospitality, and/or food service networks and broadline distributors
- Launch products and initiatives with broad and deep penetration to primary decision makers and influencers
- Achieve assigned revenue and strategic goals
- Efficiently leverage cross-functional internal departments to meet business and customer needs
- Maintain a high degree of flexibility in handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 3 - 7 years experience, preferred in healthcare, hospitality, or food service industries
- Strong track record of success in business development and/or national accounts
- Strong working knowledge of the healthcare, hospitality and food service industries
- Superior oral, written, and communication and presentation skills
- Keen sense of urgency in responding to and delivering upon customer needs
- Exceptional prioritization, multi-tasking, project- and time-management skills
- Proven strong analytical and strategic acumen
- Some travel may be required
